Would not recommend Bob's Premier Automotive Repair. They did some transmission work on my car and during reassembly, their tech damaged the cooling fan wiring harness by pinching it under the battery support bracket that he had removed to gain access to the transmission. The shorted wiring damaged the TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module) and cooling fan assembly. The damage was discovered by another shop where my car was torn apart and it was impossible for me to bring my car back to Bob's. It cost me over $1700 to have the damage fixed. As of this date, Bob's Premier Automotive Repair has refused to reimburse me for any of damage they caused. Not good customer service, take responsibility for your actions.

Update 12/17: After their investigation, and finding in my favor, PayPal M/C has issued a permanent credit to my account in the amount of $551.17.

Rebuttal 08/07/17: Per the Chrysler Manual, to replace the radiator which I had done at another shop, it is not necessary to remove the battery support bracket. The other shop did nothing wrong. The only shop that had removed the battery support bracket was Bob's Premier Automotive Repair. By Steve now bringing the other shop into this matter, in my opinion, is an attempt to defame and slander the other shop.

In addition, if Bob's Premier Automotive Repair had followed the Chrysler Service Manual, the wires would have never been pinched under the bracket because to change the transmission parts that they did, it is not necessary to remove the battery support bracket. But their tech did remove the bracket and pinched the wires during the reassembly process.

Rebuttal 08/02/17: You have refused to accept any kind of responsibility from the very beginning, even though your shop was the only ones ever to work in that area of my vehicle. I have already explained to you that it was impossible for me to bring my vehicle back to you after the problem was discovered at Goodyear, as my vehicle was torn apart in their shop. Also, the repairs could have been much worse if the vehicle had overheated because of the non-functioning cooling fan circuit.

If I had been able to get my vehicle back to your shop for repairs, you would still be out about the same amount as what I paid Goodyear. The cost of the replacement TIPM would have still been the same because you only use genuine MOPAR parts in your repairs. You stated that to me in a prior email. In addition, there would still be the $150 to have the new TIPM programmed at a dealership because your shop does not have the STARSCAN equipment required to program the TIPM. Also, your shop would not have covered the cooling fan replacement under warranty. Goodyear was able to do that, even though they were under no obligation to do so. One issue would have been how fast would you have gotten to the repairs? As it was, Goodyear had it for 3 days and I was without a vehicle.

We possibly could have worked out something if you would just be reasonable and come to a compromise. I've been driving my vehicle for 11 years now and the wires going to the cooling fan have been just fine all this time. The wiring was damaged (pinched under the battery bracket) while my vehicle was in your shop. I understand that things can happen and I'm sure that your tech didn't intentionally mean to damage the wires, but it did happen at your shop. Just accept some responsibility for the actions of your employee.

In addition, on the initial repairs, the transmission was not properly programmed and it was still having shifting issues. When I brought this to your attention, you directed me to take my vehicle to Transpec Transmissions Specialist in Haltom City to have the transmission programmed, again.

Remarks posted on social media are protected by freedom of speech, that's already been upheld in many Courts. My comments are factual and not malicious or threatening in any manner. Goodyear did a proper repair and replaced those components that were damaged after visiting your shop. Since Goodyear has fixed my vehicle, it has had no issues.
